We are delighted to have opened a coffee shop in our Thornhill Briggs Mill development aimed specifically at the building’s tenants and the local business community.
Big Shots, a 500 square foot café off Thornhill Beck Lane, is a joint venture between Henderson Property, Hebden Bridge-based painting pottery cafe Flying Saucers and three of our tenants; Faith PR, Sleigh & Story Accountants and Yorkshire Payments.
The café was officially opened on 19 August by Calderdale MP Craig Whittaker and marks the end of our 12 month redevelopment of Thornhill Brigg Mills, a previously derelict 218 year old former textile mill.
We were delighted to welcome over 200 business people and local councillors through the doors who came to see the space and sample some of the locally produced food we are selling.
Having overseen the redevelopment of Thornhill Brigg Mills since last summer, it is fantastic that the building is now restored to its former glory. Big Shots has also allowed us to create two new jobs for people from the local area, and we believe it will become a real asset to the mill and the wider business community in Brighouse.
